Jalissa and Nicholas had a late April wedding. This sweet couple met at our local airport. He, a pilot and she works in the office. Their engagement even took place in a plane! I am guessing there is a lot of travel in the future for these two!!
The day brought heavy downpours of rain so we made the most of the situation and used The Studio to get some amazing wedding portraits! All the families came too! I was happy to have a dry place for portraits and still utilize the natural light that I love for wedding portraiture!!
Jalissa used to be our neighbor! When she was in high school, she babysat our 3 girls when they were just babies!! With 9 younger siblings herself, I had complete trust in her… I figured she had more experience than me anyway :).
Jalissa’s dress flowed beautifully around her and had I loved the neckline! A favorite for sure!!
These two!! Could they be any cuter?? They both had gracious hearts, which made them easy to photograph! How do I always get the best couples?
I love that there was so much tradition brought into the details of the wedding. The ivy in Jalissa’s bouquet has been passed down for generations! Nicholas’ tie clip was also his grandfathers!
Family portraits! We chose a simple grey backdrop – which I love how well it coordinated with everything! Classic and beautiful for sure.
Nicholas’ side of the family…
Jalissa’s side of the family…
I’m never going to stop doing group hugs! My favorite!!
How cute is her littlest sister and flower girl?!
This family made the most of the rain and wind and had a beautiful ceremony overlooking Lake Red Rock!
It finally dried up a bit for us to try for some outside portraits! I know Jalissa was freezing – but worth it…I hope?!
Congratulations Nicholas and Jalissa. It was an honor and privilege to be a part of your wedding day! I love how you love each other so much.
XOXO
