Justin and Kathy Engagement Session – Pella, IA Wedding Photographer

Justin farms five hours from Pella. He drove all the way here for the engagement session. Thankfully, we had beautiful 70 degree weather and sunny skies!

Both Justin and Kathy are from farm families – in fact we are planning our wedding timeline around milking ;). Their engagement is one of long distance – but you can see from the photos they are so in love!

Justin proposed to Kathy using a toy Holstein black and white dairy cow with the ring attached. She wasn’t suspecting the proposal, so it was a complete surprise!

Kathy and Justin chose these silos and farmstead for the first location of their session. It fits with their lifestyle perfectly!

We then went to a favorite bridge and finished out our session.

Due to the long distance between Kathy and Justin right now, their favorite thing is to just spend time together! Kathy likes to ride in the tractor with Justin as he farms, they fish together and most dates end with ice cream! Could life get better?!
